Roanoke/Cashie River Center​

​​​Explore local cultures of Windsor and how its unique history shaped the town. We feature hands-on interactive displays of artifacts from life in historic Windsor and Salmon Creek State Natural Area. Come and enjoy our scenic river walk and amphitheater along the quite Cashie River. We also have a working honey bee hive, black water aquarium, turtle tank, and local ecosystem displays. From May through October, we host Cashie River Rambling boat tours on Saturdays at 10:30am. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

River Rambling Tours Saturdays in May-October Tours start at 10:30 am Call (252) 794-2001 Free Admission Meet at 10:15 to sign waiver and get life jackets.

Every year, the Town of Windsor holds their 4th of July Celebration on July 3rd! So come on down to the Roanoke/Cashie River Center to celebrate with the whole community!

In February of each year, RCRC announces their STEM Field Trip Grant application to teachers of the Bertie County Public School District. This grant made available so teachers can take their students on STEM oriented field trips in NC.
